Designed for inflating and deflating air beds, boats, and other inflatable items, this cordless, rechargeable electric pump makes the chore fast and easy. It works with Coleman double-lock and quick valves, Boston valves, and pinch valves, and is compatible with all Coleman air beds and inflatables, as well most other inflatable products.

It does not, however, work with stem and needle valves, such as those in basketballs, bike tires, etc. For valves other than pinch valves, there’s an adapter nozzle, and for pinch valves there’s a separate adapter. The Rechargeable Pump does not use separate batteries. Compare with the Coleman 4D Universal Quick Pump that requires 4 D Cell batteries. There is about a $10.00 difference in price between these two air mattress pumps, not much more than the cost of one package of 4 D cells. With a small power inverter you could recharge the pump from your car’s cigarette lighter.

I bought this pump in conjunction with a Coleman Comfort Control Air Mattress and I’m very pleased with both. The pump filled the air mattress firmly in under a minute when plugged in, and the pump seems to hold a charge quite well. It is a little noisy.

The quick pump I bought works great, helps out lots for our camping blow up beds and my SeaHawk raft. Save me lots of work so I don’t have to blow up anything just grab my quick pump and go camping!
